Special Collections launches new Basque child refugees "Telling their stories" resource
Special Collections is pleased to present its new Basque child refugees "Telling their stories" web page. This features documents drawing on oral histories, manuscript memoirs, other testimonies and writings to develop a series telling the stories of the individuals in their own voices.

Taken from a number of oral histories and from magazines and writings of the children, these provide a picture of the journey from Bilbao to 网络彩票APP下载_澳客彩票网-官方游戏,, the arrival in the UK, the camp at North Stoneham, life in the colonies and more generally within the UK.
