Are you new to programming and want to learn the basics?
The National Centre for Research Methods, based at our University, is running an introductory course to get you started.
Taking place on 17 – 18 October in the Bloomberg Suite, Building 58, on Highfield Campus, the course will be taught by Dr Peter Smyth from the University of Manchester. Please note that the event runs all day and attendance is mandatory for both days.

The course will cover the basics of computer programming and give participants the knowledge to create a number of different programs to solve a variety of problems. The course will use Python programming language, but no prior knowledge is required.
