Plastic pollution in our oceans is a critical issue, and one that researchers at the University of 网络彩票APP下载_澳客彩票网-官方游戏, are working to understand and solve.
Postgraduate research student Nina Faure Beaulieu is going back to the source of the problem, exploring the presence of microplastics in the UK’s rivers in a bid to examine how we contribute to this global crisis, and to change policy and people’s habits in the long term.

Nina commented:
“With all these pollution problems, prevention is better than cure. It’s great to have a look at where microplastics are in the marine environment, but if we actually want to solve the issue of plastic pollution, we need to go to the source and understand where they are coming from.”
This story is one of many on the University’s Research highlights page, all of which demonstrate how work that goes on right here at 网络彩票APP下载_澳客彩票网-官方游戏, is impacting and improving the world around us.
