Open Access Buttons – finding OA articles
OA button and Unpaywall provide plugins for most browsers which help you find free to read versions with a single click from the publisher’s page. You can also batch search DOIs using Unpaywall and they will email you a list of links. Most importantly, these services are free and legal. We suggest using the OA button or Unpaywall to help inform your decision to request an interlibrary loan, or before buying access to an article.
Next week we’ll be sharing some tips on getting your research published, and how to promote your published pieces, so stay tuned!
