There are still places available to take part in a study examining the performance of submariners in a control room environment with The Transportation Research Group (TRG).
Participants will be invited to the state-of-the-art submarine simulator on Highfield Campus to complete a number of tasks, representative of those completed by submariners.
Refreshments will be provided throughout the day including lunch and participants will be gifted ?30 (or psychology students can earn 60 participation credits for semester?2 instead) to cover out of pocket travel expenses and as compensation for their time spent participating in the study.
You will be required to attend the facility for approximately five hours, and the time and date will be allocated once participants have been selected.
If you would like to take part, please email Sarah Twist on?S.R.Twist@soton.ac.uk?by?15 March 2019.
