Join Winnie Eley for a town hall: “An energising and interactive session”

Winnie Eley VP (International) has led lively discussions about internationalisation at her first two town halls on Highfield Campus and at WSA.

There are further sessions at NOCS, Boldrewood, SGH and Avenue and you can register for a place at the bottom of this article.

Mrs Winnie Eley

Attendees were asked at the events to consider what they like about working/studying at a global University and what they would do to make our University even more international. The thoughts and ideas will be used to develop the next stage of the International Strategy.

Attendees said of the event:

“Winnie’s engaging interactive session opened up valuable dialogue between colleagues to explore how our international strategy moves forwards, building both on the existing strengths of our global University and overcoming current challenges. The session further stimulated personal reflection on the global impact we can have in our day to day roles.” Daniel Hobson, Graphic Arts Teaching Fellow, WSA.

“It was an energising,?interactive session which left us with a sense that together we can really achieve some amazing results for our international strategy.” Julia Furse, International Office Manager.

“I thought the session was really positive and Winnie was both an engaging and encouraging host. It was also nice to have the opportunity to participate and to speak with the other attendees to share their thoughts on internationalisation which should be implicit in everything we do, so we can work towards becoming a truly global university community.” Bhupinder Siran, Business Relationship Manager, iSolutions.
