Developed at our University, the Employability Exchange provides access to key information, data and contacts to inform, guide and inspire University staff to develop and promote employability activity and initiatives.
Recently, colleagues from across our University have contributed to short videos explaining how they have developed their curricular and teaching with the use of the Graduate Capital Model and associated Career Readiness Test.
The Careers and Employability Service are very pleased to be able to share these examples of good practice, which include:
- auditing the curricular with the aid of Graduate Capital Model
- using the Career Readiness Test to support conversations with students about their futures
- the application of the Graduate Capital Model to mentoring interventions led by employers
At less than two minutes each, the videos are a quick and easy way to find out more about practical techniques to embed careers in the curriculum. You can view an example video below:
We are always seeking examples of case study materials on the topic of employability to share via the Exchange, please contact Hazel McCafferty, Project Lead in the? Careers and Employability Service if you think you can contribute or to find out more about the existing resources: H.E.Mccafferty@soton.ac.uk?
