Your?personal exam timetable is available and can be viewed on your SUSSED account. It will show you the definitive time/date, location, and seat number for your exams.?
If you have a ‘missing’ exam or have been scheduled on the wrong exam then please do not worry, you can come and see the team in Building 37 (George Thomas Bldg), Room 2083, or contact them by phone +44 (0) 23 8059 2823 or by email: exams@southampton.ac.uk
You should ensure that you know where the exam room is in advance, to prevent last-minute panic or being late. Have a look at the examination room plans and the campus map?to familiarise yourself.
Please note: if exams are cancelled due to extraordinary circumstances (for instance inclement weather, sudden loss of exam venues) they may be rescheduled to any other day within term time at short notice. You should bear this in mind if you plan to leave the campus as you risk being unable to complete your required assessment. This may mean that you are unable to progress your academic studies. For details of term time please see the term dates calendar.
Read through the instructions for exam candidates to ensure that you know what to do and what to expect.?If you require a calculator or dictionary or during an exam, read the exam regulations.
If you are prevented from attending any examination by some urgent cause other than illness, you must inform your student office as soon as is practicable.
What to do if you are feeling ill?
You should not start or continue your exam if you are feeling ill.
If you are feeling ill before your exam, you should notify your student office as soon as possible. They may be able to arrange for you to re-take your exam when you are feeling better, or during the supplementary exam period.
If you feel ill during your exam, you should attract the attention of an invigilator by raising your hand and explain that you are feeling unwell. You can find more information here.
