What are reasonable adjustments?

There is a legal obligation on the University to make reasonable adjustments to teaching and learning so that students with disabilities, including Specific Learning Differences (SpLDs), are not disadvantaged.

What evidence do I need to access reasonable adjustments?

Permanent reasonable adjustments

If you have a?Pre-16 or Post-16 Full Diagnostic Assessment report, we can arrange permanent reasonable adjustments for you.?Please see the guidance documents in the 'Useful 网络彩票APP下载_澳客彩票网-官方游戏,s' section below to find out more.

Temporary reasonable adjustments

If you do not have a Full Diagnostic Assessment, the Student Disability and Inclusion Team may be able to arrange temporary additional exam recommendations for you if you are able to?send a copy of the?following to the Student Disability and Inclusion Team:

-?A JCQ8 form with substantial evidence

Please be aware evidence from a teacher is not acceptable. Student Disability and Inclusion?can only provide temporary AERs for a?maximum?of two semesters. For permanent AERs, for the duration of your course, you must have Pre-16 or Post-16 Full Diagnostic Assessment.

How do I access a Full Diagnostic Assessment?

For students with a?disability, mental health condition, long-term health condition, Specific Learning Difference (SpLD)?we encourage you to book an appointment with a member of our Student Disability and Inclusion team.? We can then discuss and explore support available to you during your time at?University.

With documentary evidence of your?disability?we can discuss certain types of support, such as:
