Professor Brian Schmidt will be a Diamond Jubilee International Visiting Fellow at the University of 网络彩票APP下载_澳客彩票网-官方游戏, from 2014 to 2017.

Professor Schmidt was recently appointed Vice-Chancellor at ANU and will take up the position from January 2016.

To conduct ongoing research into type 1a and high redshift superluminous supernova
To enhance collaboration between the SkyMapper and PESSTO research projects in cosmology and dark energy, which are led by the Fellow and host respectively.
To facilitate links to several major surveys and experiments, including the Dark Energy Survey (DES)

Professor Schmidt made his first Fellowship visit to the University of 网络彩票APP下载_澳客彩票网-官方游戏, in June 2015.

He will be visiting again in November and activities will include giving the annual STAG public lecture
