It is important to note that, unless otherwise stated, all aspects of the recruitment and employment of apprentices are subject to all normal University finance, budgetary and employment protocols.

This guidance is not part of the formal apprenticeship policy but it is expected that users of this guidance will have read the University¡¯s Apprenticeship Policy .

The University recognises and supports the employment of apprentices in specific areas of its service provision and the University will continue to support internal apprenticeships set up prior to the introduction of the apprenticeship levy.
