Here at the University of 网络彩票APP下载_澳客彩票网-官方游戏,, we will be celebrating International Women's Week (IWW) from Monday 5 to Wednesday 23 March. Events range from discussions of women in science, art exhibitions and a talk from Sharon Strawbridge (Senior Lecturer at University of Exeter) alongside Professor Sir Christopher Snowden (University of 网络彩票APP下载_澳客彩票网-官方游戏, Vice Chancellor).

Pledge for Parity

The international theme this year ‘pledge for parity’ with an aim to bring everyone – men and women – together to help achieve gender equality. Everyone - men and women - can pledge to take a concrete step to help achieve gender parity more quickly - whether to help women and girls achieve their ambitions, call for gender-balanced leadership, respect and value difference, develop more inclusive and flexible cultures or root out workplace bias. Each of us can be a leader within our own spheres of influence and commit to take pragmatic action to accelerate gender parity.

Most IWW events are open to both students and staff at the University, to both women and men, and are free of charge unless stated otherwise.
