The eleven 'Bridging The Gaps' Universities

In 2014, as part of the cross-council initiative in Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) EPSRC? launched its 'Bridging The Gap' call to engage engineering and physical sciences (EPS) researchers with the AMR challenge and? develop networks focusing on?four multidisciplinary themes in the cross-council AMR initiative ( www.mrc.ac.uk/amr ) in order to?support people to build capacity and understanding which could lead to future research proposals. The eleven Institutions below shared funding of ?5 Million to run for 2 years from 2015

Developing novel strategies to detect and mitigate the emergence of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in zoonotic pathogens

A practical interdisciplinary hub promoting interdisciplinary approaches to spark innovation tackling antimicrobial resistance

T/\RGeTED, York University

A culture of engagement with ‘goal-orientated’ thinking between Engineering, Physical, Biological and Social Scientists
