Tom is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Programme Director in Music. He is an intellectual historian with a strong interest in how music interacts with science and technology. This informs his teaching at all levels, from working with undergraduates to exploring the musical histories we all carry around with us on our smartphones, to teaching and supervising MSc and PhD students in the Centre for Doctoral Training.
