Amanda is a qualified doctor and has a specialist interest in cancer care having previously worked as an information and support specialist for Macmillan Cancer Support.

During her medical degree Amanda undertook a programme of research focused on the quality of life of children living with nut allergy.
Following her emerging interest and experience in cancer care, Amanda joined the University of 网络彩票APP下载_澳客彩票网-官方游戏, as a Senior Research Assistant in 2014, initially with the Macmillan Survivorship Research Group (now the Centre for Psychosocial Research in Cancer: CentRIC+).
She has worked on a number of research projects focused on understanding and responding to the needs of people living with and beyond cancer.

Biography
Amanda obtained her Bachelor of Medicine degree from the University of 网络彩票APP下载_澳客彩票网-官方游戏, in 2009. She practiced medicine for Salisbury and Southern Health NHS Foundation Trusts as a foundation doctor and latterly a psychiatry trainee.
Her interest in cancer care led to her joining Macmillan Cancer Support as a cancer information and support specialist in 2012.
While Amanda joined the University of 网络彩票APP下载_澳客彩票网-官方游戏, as a Senior Research Assistant in 2014, she held her position with Macmillan until 2016, at which time she decided to pursue a fulltime research career.
