Enrol – officially join the University

Enrolment for 2024/25 opens on Thursday 1 August 2024. You may need to wait up to 12 hours after setting up your University IT account for the system to allow you to enrol.

What you’ll need

Enrolling is how you officially join the University. If you don't enrol, you can be withdrawn from your course.

To enrol, you’ll need:

  • your University IT account login details
  • your University ID number, also known as your student ID number. You can find this on your offer letter or welcome email
  • your current permanent address
  • emergency contact details

You'll also be asked for the following details, but you can enrol without them and add them later:

  • a term-time address
  • your mobile number

There are also some questions set by the UK government for statistical purposes, and by the University to help us provide you with any support you need.

Reminder for students paying tuition fees

If you're paying your tuition fees yourself, you can find out more information on payment options and timings.

If you've been approved for a tuition fee loan from the UK government, you don't need to do anything. You can still find out if you're eligible and apply for a tuition fee loan via GOV.UK.

If you have a loan through Student Finance or you're self-funding your studies, we recommend creating a spending plan. Take a look at the University's budget guide and advice on money to get started.

If you have any questions on tuition fees, or need any support, please email The Student Hub.
