Project overview
(UoS) ?4,900 Research Investment and Support for Building Sustainable and Green Futures 2023
We propose a systematic mathematical scheme to provide data-backed choices on which environmentally problematic and/or redundant recycling centers to close. Arbitrary closures of recycling centers risk populations forced to travel too far for recycling leading to an increased tendency of dumping waste in the nature. For a preprint of parts of this work, see: https://optimization-online.org/?p=25855
