Dr. Veronica Zamora studied Biology at her home town in Mexico, where she found her life passion, the fascinating creatures named bats (the only flying mammals belonging to the order Chiroptera). Since then, she has been developing different projects within the areas of ecology and conservation, trying to understand how human activities/disturbances may affect species distributions, interactions, the delivery of ecosystem services, and pathogens dynamics associated to migratory species.
